
Spring Break Rodeo Camp
March 31st, 2009
What is it:
A way for young adults to learn and participate in the art of Rodeo.
What they will be doing:
They will also learn skills that will build leadership, trust and self esteem through experiential learning (learning by doing).
Curriculum includes:
- Safety techniques
- Animal-husbandry care
- Leadership activities
- Barrel racing
- Pole bending
- Calf- riding
- Drill teams
- Roping and tying
When is it:
Monday, April 13 through Friday, April 17
8:30 A.M. – 11:30 A.M.
Friday night 7:00 P.M. Participants from Camp will put on Rodeo for parents
Who is eligible:
Ages 10-16 (Must sign notarized release form)
Where is it:
Onslow Rodeo Arena, 1345 Kellum Loop Road, Jacksonville, NC 28546
Cost:
$75.00 per child
